The purpose of the Bishop Hill Fiber Guild
Provide opportunities for extending the individuals' knowledge and appreciations of the fiber arts.
Promote the appreciation of the fiber arts through contact with the public.
Support members in the use and knowledge of fibers.
Membership:
Membership shall be open to individuals who desire to
promote the Guild's purpose and fiber arts in general.
Membership dues are $12 per year payable by January to the Treasurer. New members pay a prorated amount depending on the month they join the Guild.
Our members do: spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, tatting, rug hooking, natural dying, and spinning wheel and weaving loom construction, repair and restoration. If it involves fiber arts, someone in the guild does it. If you need some help with a project or are interested in learning a fiber art, come join us and make new friends, learn a new skill and have some fun.
