28th Annual Spin-In
The Bishop Hill Fiber Guild's 28th Annual Spin-In will be held on October 18, 2008. This years event will again be held at the Black Hawk College- East Campus located at 1501 State Highway 78, Kewanee, IL. 61443. This will be a fun filled day of workshops, meeting new fiber friends, visiting with old fiber friends, improving your skills, learning a new skill, and shopping for all those fiber related items with our many venders.

Go to one workshop in the morning and one workshop in the afternoon!
Beginning Spinning on a Drop Spindle and Spinning Wheel; Color Blending on a Drum Carder; Fiber Preparation; and Knitting and Crochet Basics are being offered morning and afternoon. Please check your program the day of the Spin-In for times and locations.
There will be a Spin, Knit, and Whatever Circle for community fiber work and fellowship. Please check the facility layout in your program for location. Attendees are welcome to bring spinning and / or any other fiber activity (i.e., knitting, crocheting, etc.) to this CIRCLE.
